This case offers very little protection….not worth the money….or the money it cost to return it. Don’t bother.

This is a very nice case for the iphone 3g or 3gs. Mine came with some scratches on the back, so I called up the seller, mygearstore, and they wanted me to send it back and they will send me a new one. I didn’t because it was too much work. I really like this case but it get scratched up very easily. I take extreme care to not get any scratch on it; I will let it rest on a paper towel while on my desk, and I place it in a leather case holster when I go out, but still somehow it manages to get scratched up (and I’ve only had it for 4 days!)

This case does help keep your iPhone in one piece. However, I can’t believe something like this costs more than $2, as it is cheap plastic and does not really lock in place very well. I had to attach tape in the back to keep it from opening and the borders where the top attaches to the bottom could be vastly improved. Overall, a usable but very cheap overpriced accessory, like pretty much everything for iPhone these days.
BTW, the side rubber started peeling out from putting my iPhone in my pocket and removing it, and it was that kind of cheap sticky rubber that sticks to your fingers, so I had to pull the rubber bands off and clean the case with “Goo gone” to remove the annoying stickiness.

This is my favorite case so far, and I’ve bought several. However, after two months the rubber edging started coming off. I went to bed, it was fine, when I woke up the edge was coming off! I’m very disappointed, yet still tempted to get another one because it’s a wonderful concept- it’s the execution that is lacking. First I am trying to get it replaced through warranty.

The product is good but my only problem I guess it is not with the product but with the company that sold it to me because it was supposed to be new and when I received it had a very big scratch already. Did not look like new at all.
